Bring a fuzzy friend and join us for a Stuffed Animal Sleepover at the Altadena Library! We’ll host a story time at 6:30pm, and then kids can go home and their stuffed animals will have a fun sleepover at the library. Your stuffed animal friends will have a great time reading books, playing games, making crafts– just like you do when you come to the library! Then, come pick your stuffed animal back up from the library the next day and learn all about their overnight adventure!
Hey, Parents! Did you know that Stuffed Animal Sleepovers are a great way to get your child interested in books and reading? By encouraging your child to read aloud (or “read aloud”) to a stuffed animal, sibling, or an adult, you’re encouraging your child to participate in active learning and are helping them develop self-directed learning skills!
This program is for families with children aged 0-7. We recommend bringing a friend who won’t mind spending the night away from you.
